The 4 pillars: antistress techniques

We teach guests how to rebalance their autonomic nervous system and block the inflammatory process through a series of gradual exercises based on breathing techniques. The aim is to manage stress and strengthen the emotions.
The Greek word pneuma means spirit, breath or breath of life. Life itself starts and ends with a breath, so the importance of breathing to life and health is quite obvious. Breathing can help rebalance the autonomic nervous system, the part of the nervous system which we cannot influence. It regulates the internal organs and involuntary muscles (the heart and intestine) and acts as a bridge between emotions, the psyche and the body. The Equilibrium programme consists of a series of simple relaxation exercises based on breathing. During the week, the exercises get gradually deeper and can help guide participants towards a stronger
psychological state which is less influenced by negative emotions and more relaxed and mindful.
