EQUILIBRIUM: TWO PATHWAYS FOR ONE DESTINATION
|
Even though signs related to stress appear in different ways, the mechanisms
that determine them are often the same.
Each person’s approach is different however, and it regards the motivations of
the source of stress and the way to face it using possible coping and defence
strategies. In this case, the cognitive component is more important than the symptom
and general situation, that is, the level of awareness an individual has of him/herself
and his/her body and abilities. The emotional state and ability to control reactions
is also just as important.
There are two pathways to choose from within the EQUILIBRIUM programme which
are characterised by different treatment approaches: the SOMATIC pathway or AYURVEDIC pathway.

THE AYURVEDIC PATHWAY |
|

|
This option is based on the principles of Ayurvedic medicine, which has existed
for thousands of years, and is characterised by an approach aimed at purification
and rebalancing energy.
The treatments come from the most orthodox Ayurvedic discipline combined with
thermae treatments.
This is a particularly intense and effective programme and it is recommended
for people who really need to be taken care of and looked after.

THE SOMATIC PATHWAY |
|

|
This option is characterised by an approach that is aimed at deep psychophysical
recovery which requires great awareness of one’s body and one’s internal stability
through the use myofascial and craniosacral movements and practices such as Yoga,
meditation and proprioceptive techniques.
This pathway involves growing self-awareness and it is recommended for people
suffering from mental stress.
